On Spirituality
Asking Effective Questions: Talking to Oracles, Diviners, and Spiritworkers
In spiritual practice, one of the most powerful skills we can develop is that of asking effective questions. How you ask a question affects the kind of answers you get. In this class, we explore frameworks for getting answers that provide useful, actionable information, particularly when working with divination, oracles, and spiritworkers. (90 minutes)
Boundaries, Fences, and Better Neighbors: Mapping the Self in Community
Clear dynamic boundaries support our inner-being and inter-being relationships. They support the identification of our most rooted needs, values, and desires. Our boundaries are how we identify where we end, and community begins. They are our lived experiences in relating. Awareness here enables us to become more accountable for our inner-selves and for our impact on others. Come join us. Get curious. Ask questions, and apply your sense of wonder to the ways you interact with and at your edges. (90 minutes)
Breath Is Fundamental: Connecting to Self and Other
To show up for ourselves empowered to explore through a lens of curiosity and compassion, it is wise to begin with breath. To show up relating to others with the wholeness of our being intact, it is wise to start with the breath. Mindful breathing offers bridges across the many facets and experiences of our inner realms, as well as to everything external to us. It stitches through our layers of existence and anchors us to the shared reality of the present moment. Come learn how to use the breaths you’re taking each day as tools to meet ourselves and others with integrity and mindfulness. (90 minutes)
Building Classes as Ritual
Building out course materials is a process, one of collection, organization, and practice in applying a body of knowledge. In this course, we will discuss how to craft classes within the structure of ritual design. Scenes, rituals, initiations, and radical shifts in our states of being, often come with a shift in how we fit within consensus reality. Can we “go back to normal” or is it “on to a new normal”. What does that even look like? We explore tools for energetic closure, and endings, of exploring our new normal. Where do we go from here? (90 minutes)
